My passion for hospice began with the loss of my aunt, who passed away alone in the ER without the comfort and care hospice could have provided. That experience changed me and now I’m committed to helping families understand the peace and dignity that hospice and palliative care can bring during life’s final chapter. Alongside this work, I run a Room and Board business shared with a group of close girlfriends. Together, we provide safe, clean, and temporary housing for low-income individuals in need of stability and social services support . Our next goal is to open a home for individuals with developmental disabilities. Everything I do is rooted in compassion, community and my sisterhood, and the belief that everyone deserves to be cared for — with dignity, at every stage of life. This is not only part of my core values but my personal belief as a Native Fijian woman.
